Comments:

I worked at Eastman Kodak, got married, and had kids. Moved to AZ in 1990. I worked as worship leader in several churches and taught piano until 1998, then got divorced.
I then began to work as a Project Admin for a couple private Transportation Engineering Firms that did work for ADOT and cities in the Phoenix area. I enjoyed that very much, until 2014, when I became epileptic, then had a stroke. I became disabled and retired permanently. I am currently going to college as an English major, with a goal of a home business with high school/college kids helping with spelling/grammar/wording for school papers.

School Story:

I was so quiet in school, I seriously don't remember much! Hung out in the band room and the drama room. I remember being in Superman, the musical one year. My job was as a mob moll (basically the whore on call for the bad guy!) and my big scene was slapping someone. I don't remember who played the part of the guy I had to slap, but we spent hours working on how to slap while making a huge sound, but not really hurting the guy I was hitting. Wouldn't you know, I was so nervous, I missed. My slap didn't make a sound for the audience... but I sure hit him hard! I still remember the 'what the f#%@ did you do THAT for' look?! The end of my theatre days! LOL

Hi Glen! You know, I don't remember you in high school, but from wayyyy back in the day before that: Back in the neighborhood, long summer days. When I think of you, I remember one time in particular, and you probably don't remember this, but this makes sense, as we both ended up loving to write. We were laughing. At the word 'pig'. I don't know why. We had decided that it was a funny sounding word, and we were just saying it back and forth, rolling it around on our tongues, spelling it and trying to see if the letters made the correct sounds to form the word... peeeeggg. Pig. Oeg, Guh. Puh, I was literally on the floor, I was laughing so hard, I couldn't stand up. I think we were in the mud room at your house. You probably think I'm stupid nuts, thinking of that, but when I think of you, I always smile, just because it is such a fond memory. :-)
I'm sorry you won't be at the reunion; I'm coming in from Phx for Sheryl's 60th birthday, and this happens to coincide date-wise. I hope you are well and happy> And just remember... "peeeeeggggg...' and laugh!

I just now joined this site and i am so sorry that Al has gone. I was looking up names of old friends and couldn't find him, until I saw him here. Al was a great guy... others maybe remember him as Big Al, I remembered him as Big Hair Al! I felt such camraderie because I had such big, curly, crazy hair too! :) Al always had a smile... a little shy, but fun and sweet and kind and smart. He was a good friend.
